Happy Tuesday! I’m so happy the sun has made a return. I’ve been loving the weather and being able to wear shorts again! I got these beauties at American Eagle a couple weeks ago and I’m in love!!! I tried on a couple pairs of cloth shorts like these, but these were the only ones I got. I love the color, the design, how they fit, literally everything about them. I’ve really been loving cloth, patterned shorts lately. I need to get more!

This tank is another one of my favorites. It’s really comfy, and I don’t need to wear a bra with it! Truly a blessing in the summer. I love how it’s cute and unique, but basic enough that I can wear it a lot of different ways. I wore my black Converse and braided my hair since I was having a horrible hair day.

I also wore my Coconut Passion perfume from Victoria’s Secret! I bought it a couple years ago and fell in love. I love coconut! I went without makeup, and made sure to wear sunscreen now that the sun is out. My personal favorite is Kiss My Face’s All Natural Dry Oil Spray Sunscreen. It smells yummy and does the job! Read my full review here if you’d like!

Remember to enjoy the sun today, and tell your friends and family you love them! I love you guys!

Happy June! I feel like time has been flying lately. You know it’s been two years since I started this blog? They say time flies when you’re having fun, and I believe it ;)

This is one of my favorite summer looks! I always break it out at the start of summer. It just immerses me in summer vibes. On a grosser note, I’ve been outside so often lately, which means I’ve been super sweaty! Wearing lighter clothes is always the way to go for me, which is another reason I love this look so much.

I’ve been really into patterned pants lately, especially patterned shorts. This is one of my favorite pairs! They’re adorable, super lightweight, and so comfy. They’re perfect for just lounging around or going out; they’re really easy to dress up or dress down. My only complaint is that they’re really short, but I have long legs and a big butt, so that’s my problem with almost every pair of shorts I wear!

This shirt is another ride or die because it’s basic but unique. I know that’s a direct contradiction. But from the front, it just looks like a normal white crop top, but the back splits in two at the top so you can see my bandeau! I usually always stick with the black bandeau when I wear this top. I’ve tried to wear my bralette with it before, and the back looked so pretty, but since the fabric is so thin, the front is really see-through so it looks a little weird with the lace. The back always cools me off on a hot summer day. Back sweat is the worst!

And last but not least, I wore my white Converse to match my top. I left my hair a little messy, ditched the makeup since I’ve been so sweaty, and once again, pulled everything together with Katy Perry’s INDI perfume. I also wore my heart-shaped sunglasses, which I love, but they’ve been falling off my face a lot lately! I have a small head, so I have a lot of trouble keeping glasses on sometimes, but it never happened with these beauties. Hopefully one of those eyeglasses-fixers from CVS will do the trick. Fingers crossed!

How do you stay not-sweaty in the summertime? I know sweat is a part of life and a sign of activity and adventure, but it’s still so annoying! I hope you enjoy your weekend, no matter how sweaty it is!

top (no longer being sold at H&M). leggings. bralette. sneakers. perfume. lipstick (in Sanctuary).

Hello! Happy Thursday! I wore this look to a party a couple nights ago. Going to parties during the summer is so much easier than in the winter! No one has to wear their big bulky jackets, no one minds walking a lot or being outside, and everyone can get away with less clothes!

This wasn’t too much of a party, so I just decided to wear my high-waisted leggings and a crop top. I was a little bored with what was in my closet, so I borrowed this shirt from one of my roommates, and I love it! I think I had a similar one in hot pink a couple years ago. This was super comfortable, and the cut was perfect.

I wore my bralette underneath, and my white Converse to make my shirt pop more. I put my hair in a braided ponytail, and wore my darker lipstick. I love all the balance of light and dark in this look!

This one’s another simple one, but I’ve got a bunch of cool looks coming soon! Stay tuned, and make sure you’re following me on all my social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Pinterest.

Shirt (similar). Pants (no clue I'm sorry). Sneakers. Sunglasses.

My monochromatic week is coming to a close, but it's not really that big of an ending since I'm always in dark colors anyway! But this is really the look that started it all. I've always said that I love these pants, and pairing them with this shirt was only logical. Then came the sneakers, and the groovy sunglasses. Pretty self-explanatory, but still cute!

Shirt (similar). Pants (no longer being sold at Forever 21). Sneakers. Sunglasses.

I am in love with these pants. I bought them at Forever 21 a while ago but they were always too long, and now that I finally got them hemmed, I'm ridiculously excited. I actually wore this outfit for a disco mixer! I love the shapes in this. I just feel really cute and really comfortable, like I'm pumped to have a great time. It's the perfect party outfit!
